On October 31, the Faculty of ElIT held its annual IT Career Day, bringing together employer partners, students from the university and college, faculty members, and faculty alumni who now represent IT companies and public institutions.

This year, the event focused on the use of artificial intelligence in professional activities. Participants discussed how AI is transforming workflows, what opportunities it offers professionals, and what risks and limitations should be considered when applying it.

The panel discussion, “Prospects and Limitations of AI in Professional Activities,” featured representatives of MindK, CPCS, the public sector, the Cyber Police, and the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.

The speakers shared their hands-on experience with artificial intelligence, discussed practical applications, the benefits of automation, and aspects requiring particular attention. Special emphasis was placed on where AI can genuinely improve efficiency, where its capabilities should not be overestimated, why critical evaluation of AI-generated results is essential, and why responsibility for professional decisions must remain with people.

IT Career Day provided students with an opportunity to explore current industry trends, receive practical advice from professionals, and gain a better understanding of the expectations of today’s professional environment.

We thank our partners, alumni, speakers, and all participants for the insightful discussion, knowledge sharing, and contribution to the development of the Faculty of ElIT professional community!
