The diploma designing is the final stage of studying which involves systematization, expansion of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the specialty and their application in solving specific scientific, technical, economic, industrial, and other tasks, as well as the development of independent work skills.
Certification of graduates of the “Information Technologies of Design” educational program for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education within the specialty 122 «Computer Science» is carried out in the form of presenting the bachelor’s qualification work and passing the certification qualification exam. It ends with the issuance of the state certificate of the bachelor’s degree award.
Certification of graduates of the “Information Technologies of Design” educational program for the second (master’s) level of higher education within the specialty 122 «Computer Science» is carried out in the form of presenting the master’s qualification work and ends with the issuance of the state certificate of the master’s degree award.
While preparing the final qualification work, students adhere to the Sumy State University Academic Integrity Code. All final students’ qualification works are checked for plagiarism and placed in the institutional repository of the SSU.
Checking texts of the final students’ qualification works for the presence of text borrowing is carried out according to the following methodical instruction.
Every qualification work is presented openly and publicly at a meeting of the Examination Committee according to a pre-approved schedule.
