IT Department Faculty Master Product Design Together with Kharkiv IT Cluster
Modern IT education requires instructors to offer not only strong theoretical foundations, but also a deep understanding of current industry trends. Faculty members of the Department of Information Technologies continue to actively develop their professional expertise by learning from leading practitioners in the field.
Associate Professor Svitlana Vashchenko, Associate Professor Nataliia Fedotova, and Senior Lecturer Olha Boiko successfully completed the professional development course “Product Design.” The training was delivered within the Prof2IT project, organised by the Kharkiv IT Cluster with support from partner companies AMTOSS and BulkSource.
The course ran from September 17 to November 19, 2025, and included 60 hours of intensive work (2 ECTS credits).
During the program, participants developed essential skills for creating successful digital products, including the application of modern product methodologies and an in-depth analysis of real user needs. In addition, they learned how to formulate and validate hypotheses to minimise risks, as well as how to design, test, and implement effective solutions aimed at achieving measurable business outcomes.
The knowledge and practical skills gained will be integrated into the department’s educational process. This will enable students to learn through real-world cases, understand the full lifecycle of IT product development, and become competitive in the job market even before graduation.
We congratulate our colleagues on receiving their certificates and wish them inspiration in implementing innovative teaching approaches.
